Social Housing on Anzac Avenue, Redcliffe

Every Queenslander deserves a place to call home. We’re building new social homes on Anzac Avenue in Redcliffe to provide 49 homes to people at risk of homelessness.

This new development will be an 8-storey building comprised of 1 and 2-bedroom homes for approximately 70 people eligible for social housing.

Features of the building include an open communal area, secure lift lobby, car parking, bike storage and a dedicated meeting space on the ground level to be used by the Moreton Bay Housing Service Centre to deliver support services to residents.

The proposed development is well-located, close to a shopping centre, public transport and services including the Redcliffe Hospital.

The design of the building has considered the local neighbourhood and heritage character of the area and will retain the heritage-listed trees located at the front of the property.

Following the appointment of a builder, we expect construction to begin in late 2025, with residents moving in during 2027.
