As part of the Homes for Queenslanders plan, we are developing new supportive accommodation at Southport on the Gold Coast.
Located at 1-9 Scarborough Street, Southport, the project will deliver more than 200 social and affordable homes for a range of people, including households at risk of or experiencing homelessness on the Gold Coast.
The new high-rise development will provide one-bedroom, two-bedroom and studio apartments, with onsite support services for residents.
The Supportive Accommodation model provides long term, secure and appropriate homes for Queenslanders who need a place to live but also support to sustain a tenancy and improve social connections.
We expect construction to start in 2025 and residents to move into the building in 2027, subject to the procurement of a construction partner.
